Infill
In the traditional Japanese design, the infill is made of rice paper to diffuse natural light into a soft hue and provide privacy. To accommodate modern life, we replicate the rice paper effect by using acrylic for better durability, soundproofing and privacy.
Clients can choose between two types of infill:
Standard Infill - Printed acrylic that emulates the rice paper effect. Available in Lotus Matt and White Lotus.
Premium Infill - Opal or Pearl acrylic. These are made from rice paper that is inserted in between acrylic cuts.
Frames
The main draw of a Shoji sliding door is the perfect symmetry of the frames. The horizontal or vertical rectangles introduce an element of delicate calm, making them an appealing and functional solution for the home.

Our Shoji sliding doors are available with different mechanisms. Depending on the size of your doorway and the structure of your building, the sliding mechanisms are fixed on a top and bottom track, allowing our doors to roll smoothly.
As we custom-make our Shoji doors, you can choose if they should open as a single sliding door, or in folded parts.
